I was really skeptical about this movie from the start, and was pretty vocal about it not needing to exist, I really felt a bit upset that they'd take a movie as deep and disturbing as the first one, which really should just have been a movie, no sequels no more story to tell just a snapshot of a character, that's it, one and done, But of course something makes money and the people want more money, soooo something like Joker 2 happens, Honestly I could smell trouble from the jump with this, as soon as they said Musical....Music.....awhat? great way to alienate the previous fans, or even just fans of comics and joker...That lunatic doesn't need to sing, really nothing seemed right about that, it felt like a so the first movie was all groundbreaking and stuff but how can we go weirder and make you go...Ohh lala ...let's have them dance and sing, and Lady Gaga...
I've heard not one person say this movie was good, sadly. I'll watch it someday I'm sure, I'm also sorry that it's apparently really bad, I wanted to be wrong.
Perfect.....the reviews of this movie further proves that a certain sect of people were on some nonsense when they were talking trash about certain movies last year. I notice those folks reeeaaaalllll quiet.
I didn't even bother with the first Joker so it is what it is.
I called this from the start. Said it was going to be bad and it was. The only reason this movie was made is because the first movie made so much money. I swear some of these studios are so outta touch when it comes to comic book characters.
