My first, and thus far only, exposure to the Gatchaman/Battle for the Planets series is Alex Ross artwork commemorating it. But I love the overall aesthetics and character designs. And, Im actually really digging the purple motif of Condor, here. Nice shots!
I always heard of both gatchaman and Battle of the planets.I even remember seeing comics of them all over at one time. I didnt fully get into it until Tatsunoko vs Capcom came out on the Wii which made me really get into the Tatsunoko properties. Ken the Eagle, Jun the Swan, and Joe the Condor are in the game.

Yep same here. Thats what they called it here in the US. Loved it. I loved the plane they used most about it.
