According to what I've been reading, most of those guys there were NWA, except for Mr. Fuji. And unlike Fuji and Billy Red Lyons, McDaniel and Von Erich didn't go over the the WWF in the early-mid '80s, so I think that pretty well nails down where you and your grandfather saw Rocky Johnson.

I think it was NWA in the '70s, Memphis in the very early '80s, and WWF from '83 until about '91. Somewhere in the late '70s was Portland and some other regional stuff. FigureKingdom can probably confirm.

I watched by myself. My parents had just gotten me a tv for my room in 92 or 93. it had cable, but for some reason it only got half the channels the other TVs did. Damn glad TBS was one of them.
