I mean it is technically for carrying, but for moving it around when not in combat

I didn't like him at first cuz I'm used to him being a surfer bro instead of a modern day hardcore guy, but he's grown on me. Hope they make a v2 with the twin gatling gun's too!

I was just saying that in general. Not directed at any one person or comment.

Just carrying. Like I said, the grip is actually that ribbed area behind the barrel and doing anything but using that handle for carrying would lead to a ton of issues, but like I also said, the photo is still great nonetheless.

The ribbed area behind the barrel is the foregrip, and his hand should be cradling that underneath. Thats where an M60 is supposed to be held up front. Firing one while holding the carrying handle instead of the foregrip would result in instability causing reduced accuracy and increased recoil. It would also probably result in a burnt hand, as those carrying handles can apparently get very hot while firing those old pigs, and it would also likely result in damage to the weapon itself, as that handle was never made to stand up to the stress and heavy vibration of firing. But in every other aspect, composition, lighting, background, the flash effect, etc, that's a great photo.
