The Valaverse guys wear paint ball outfits (I still have no idea where he got the shirt on every Valaverse figure). Classified is just G.I. Joe (Grunt, for example, is wearing some kind of sweater; Dusty sort of is wearing a military uniform, but not really). And Monster Force has hardly released anyone yet. I'm excited for the Phantom Corps trooper from Monster Force (which has been repeatedly delayed), but even that figure doesn't come with a helmet.
I still say someone could clean up doing an actual Classified-scale real world soldier. You can piece one together from various lines, but it shouldn't be this hard.
Action Force isnt supposed to be real world soldiers so it makes sense they dont look that way. Its more of a mercenary type crew crossed with a touch of GI Joe.
If you want actual real world soldiers and the time period doesnt matter then Valaverse is working on an Action Force World War 2 subline. He showed a few early render style slides at dfw and he said itll be a deep line and cover both the Axis and Allied sides and will focus on the real world weapons and feature soldiers from all of the countries youd associate with the war.
Out of everything he showed during that panel both this line and the 3.75 AF o-ring line (followed by the modern pirates line) are what Im looking forward to the most. Hes doing a Splinter Cell line to tie into the new game, so hes expanding a bit.

What about the Classified 60th Anniversary infantry? I don't have a military background but that guy looks good.
Not sure if it is just the pictures, but something looks kind of wonky about this one. Maybe it is the way the limbs are shaped? Not super interested in it personally, but it is nice seeing an Action Force figure that leans harder into the military look since a lot of them tend to be a bit more fictionally styled and dont really look like traditional soldiers.
Edit: This was in reference to the Infantry Commando. I didnt even see the full panel post until just now. There are some cool ones announced. Im mostly done with GI Joes and Joe adjacent figures, but some of these are tempting.

This isn't G.I. Joe. Bobby Vala is a former Hasbro designer. His line is often called Action Force or Valaverse (because of his name). He started planning it before Classified was a thing and has kept it going despite Classified's success.

The first figure as part of Action Force Series 6 will be the exclusive Infantry Commando 2.0 for ToyCon NJ this September. Valaverse has gotten a lot of requests to reissue the original Infantry Commando but, they thought an upgrade would be better. Lots of new parts, multi camo and our new blister card design. They've taken a page from their friends at Fourhorsemen Toydesign and decided to go with the slip in cardback. Now you can keep your package pristine while letting your figure breathe. Moving forward, all of the core and basic figures will have this blister option. As usual with Valaverse exclusives, it will feature a 100 piece variant of a multi camo Steel Brigade head.
Valaverse will be looking forward to seeing you all at this show and passing out tons of these great troopers.
I'm definitely down for a slew of "Extras". The collecting world needs more (affordable) civilians and street-thugs.
