The other week we told you how Springfield Mayor J. Michael Houston presented G.I.Joe's arch-enemy Cobra Commander with a key to the city in a publicity stunt to help promote the upcoming G.I. Joe Convention which will take place there on April 9 - April 12.
Well it seems that little PR stunt has drawn a bit of unwanted attention as several residence of the quit little town have taken up picket signs and started protesting the fact that the key to their city was given to a known terrorist leader, fictional or not. They also seem to have ideas of someone else who is more deserving of the symbolic key. See the news report below for more details.
