Runaways Makes Entertainment Weekly's Must List

The recently released Runaways Vol.1 Hardcover has made the Must List – a top 10 list of the hottest things in music, film, television, and books - of the September 2nd, 2005 issue of Entertainment Weekly. But Entertainment Weekly isn’t the only one loving the new Runaways HC. Writer Brian K. Vaughan is ecstatic about how great the new collection has turned out.

"Wow, this is pretty much the opposite of canceled, huh?” says Vaughan about the series brief hiatus before relaunching the title to remarkable critical and fan reaction. “(Artist) Adrian Alphona and I are flattered by the tremendous response to the hardcover collection of our first eighteen issues, which Marvel did a beautiful job putting together.”

The story continues with edge-of-your-seat action abound in Runaways Vol.4: True Believers Digest. This digest collects Runaways Vol.2 #1-6, the first story arc of the Runaways relaunch, which picks up directly where the hardcover ends.

In Runaways Vol.4: True Believers Digest, the Runaways may have found themselves a new member in a boy named Victor, but will the new member’s super-villain father be the end of the team? You will be absolutely shocked to see which classic Marvel villain is Victor’s father.

This week, Runaways #7 is being released and it marks the beginning of a new story arc ideal for new readers to hop on the title.
