NECA's TMNT Party Van - What Does Your Heart Tell You?

NECA in several interviews such as the one Randy Falk did back in October 2020 has suggested they would at some point be doing things like a Party Van vehicle for their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Animated Series line. They have even suggested a full sewer lair playset is likely going to come.

Of course since that interview which was over a year ago now, we really haven't seen anything more materialize on that front. On top of that Super7 recently beat them to the punch by opening pre-orders for their own TMNT Ultimate Party Van which you can pre-order now at places like our sponsors EntertainmentEarth.com and BigBadToyStore.com. That one will only set you back between $450-$500.

So is NECA still planning on doing their own Party Van, which would be based more on the 80's cartoon series than the original Playmates toyline like Super7's, but still it would likely be fairly similar if they did one, and also likely expensive.

Well someone asked NECA on social media recently if they should wait for NECA's or go on and get Super7's. Likely a question plaguing more than one collector who may not have the money or space to buy two very large vehicles.

While NECA's response was somewhat cryptic and vague, simply responding by saying, "What does your heart tell you?"

I think its fairly safe to say they will be moving forward with one at some point. My guess is they will wait until next year to reveal it so it's not directly competing with the pre-orders on the Super7 one. Still that leaves the question for those only willing or able to buy one, which should they wait for???
