Captain Atom is on Amazon right now with free shipping and only slightly higher priced than in-store. I agree that the Walmart exclusives are horrible. But you can usually find them on Amazon for a decent price within the first couple months of their release. I found Shazam on Amazon back when he was released for retail price plus the cost of shipping. You just gotta check every day.

I find it funny that people assume every Target and every Walmart is just like the one they personally frequent, not realizing how radically different even just two Target stores can be.
Walmart typically is awful. But even if your local Target doesn't have the figs, they have always been available on their website. And if they sell out, they usually become available again once the release date arrives. Often, they will tell you to check back on the release day for them.
