October 30, 2004
The upcoming SACD and DualDisc release of Nine Inch Nails' The Downward Spiral will be issued on November 23. The SACD version will be 2SACD and will be hybrid. The first SACD will contain the original album while the second disc will hold new bonus material in SACD Stereo and CD Stereo and other previously released B-sides and remixes. The bonus material will be 3 previously unreleased demos of "Ruiner", "Liar", and "Heresy". This 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition will contain a 28-page booklet with more photos and graphics. The original music found on disc 1 is Surround Sound and newly remastered Stereo, both SACD and CD. The remixed SACD was completed by Trent Reznor.

The DualDisc issue will contain the entire album in remastered Stereo on the CD side while the DVD side will contain Surround Sound and Stereo versions of the video, "Hurt", and two standard issues of videos "March of the Pigs" and "Hurt". The DVD side will also contain a Surround Sound in Advanced Resolution and Stereo. Again, the entire album will be featured but in Dolby Stereo and Surround for DVD players. There is also an image gallery, complete discography, and random DVD menus. The Surround mixes are created by Reznor.
