The Doctor Octopus Marvel Archive Set from Sideshow toy.

Enchanted weapons, high-tech armor, and adamantium laced skeletons - just some of the unique items that are wielded by the denizens of the Marvel Universe. The Marvel characters are as well known for their costumes, weapons, and gadgetry as they are for their heroism and villainy. Sideshow Collectibles brings these iconic accessories to our universe with a line of miniature replicas, depicting the most memorable items used by the Earth's mightiest heroes and most infamous villains.

Otto Octavius was a brilliant nuclear physicist and inventor, until a tragic accident changed his body and fragile psyche forever. During a demonstration of the four mechanical arms he created to handle atomic material, a radiation leak sparked an explosion that fused the arms to his body. Using his mind to control his new appendages, Otto Octavius turned to a life of crime under the name Doctor Octopus. Doc Ock has crossed paths with many heroes since his first appearance in 1963 in Amazing Spider-Man, but has always remained one of Spidey's most deadly and cunning foes. Sideshow Collectibles and Marvel Comics are proud to present this 1:4 scale representation of Doc Ock's famous mechanical arms, cast in high quality polystone and complete with a display base reminiscent of Doc Ock's laboratory. Each Doc Ock set is hand cast and hand painted, and individually numbered.
