The Robin figure from this Spin Master's 5" line seems to be based or inspired by the Hydro Claw Robin from Kenner/Hasbro's 1995 line(I think my brother has this figure. I will have to check on him on that). Except that the Spin Master one has a felt cape stuck on the figure while Hasbro/Kenner's didn't have a cape in order for the figure to have the Hydro Claw harness/backpack/jet pack, and it seems the Spin Master 1 uses a metallic Green on the suit.
I may consider the Robin in this line, only because it has the Movie accurate Robin Logo from the movie, unlike the Hasbro/Kenner figures from the time, since I assume the Robin Logo on those figures were based on early concepts of the Robin Logo before they finalized it. Here's a link from Amok Time Toys to not only see what the original Kenner figure look like with it's Accessories, but to also see the Robin Logo used at the time:

I too think it sucks that these figures don't come with accessories at all. Even if they are not the same as the Kenner/Hasbro 1995 style accessories at the time(Usually huge backpack weapons, launching missiles, etc.), at least some small handheld accessories, such as Batarangs and Grapple guns for Batman and Robin, 2 handheld guns and/or maybe a theme tommy gun for Two-Face, and a Question Mark Cane and maybe some other Riddle theme accessories(Boxes with Question Marks, Puzzle Pieces, etc.) or some movie accurate Brain Drain Accessories for the Riddler.
Too goofy for me. But then I have no particular nostalgia for the toys from that movie to begin with, so. Batmobile might be a nice little display piece, though.
Some Youtubers already made comparison between this rereleases and the Original ones and they're definitely new scuplts.
Does this mean they are done with the other movie style stuff ? If so Im kinda disappointed as I was really hoping for them to expand that line with more Batmobile batbikes etc

It would have been better to update the version released by Kenner, making the real clothes used in the film and a better head for Batman, or, what I really wanted, for them to release a normal 4-inch version of this film, like they did with Keaton's Batman and Bane. It would have been really cool to have all the Batmans from the movies in the same size.Note: The choice of Bane as the only villain in this 85th anniversary Batman collection was terrible. Besides the fact that there was already a Bane released by Mattel at the time of the film in 4-inch size, they could have made the Penguin from Return, the Joker from '89, the Scarecrow from Begins, etc. Or even release more characters.Note 2:I made a simulation in photoshop of how Batman's head could have been made.
I know, it looks that someone literally squished Batman's head to much. Worst part is I don't think the original figure looked that bad. And once again, the accesories.
Also, the OG figures came with a lot of accesories this new releases lack of.

I really respect Spin Masters for this, they mostly have the "kids" part of the dc license, but this proves they are really trying to do something for old school collectors, because I really can't see this appealing to new kids generation. It's really interesting how they tried to stay true to the original toy and packaging designs with some adjustments.
Riddler from that movie line was among my first action figures, and for that time his figure had great amount of detail and quality about it, which amazed me and even my parents and grandparents, especially when you live in post soviet space, so I might be a bit biased towards the line due to nostalgia. Price are also incredibly competitive, You get whole line for 56 dollars which is pretty great value and if line goes on sale this gonna be practically a steal.

I hadn't thought of that. Sadly that makes good sense. Which means my dreams of a first appearance noghtwing in that line are doomed
Are they even using the same molds?
