There was apparently a major problem with their North Carolina tax incentives and rebates due to an accounting error on the state's part that contributed to the cancellation, too.And they better renew Doom Patrol. That is an excellent show.
Kinda bummed it got cancelled. And I have also heard that Doom Patrol hasn't officially renewed for a second season either. Earlier reports were just internal renewal so I hope that goes through. I had a feeling though Swamp Thing might get cancelled because of earlier reports of shortened season and creative differences. Also, with the WB app launching, I am sure they will try to suck these all there.

First episode was a good start, it didnt impress me but it shows alot of promise for whats to come. It actually gives me some good vibes from the original Swamp Thing show from YEARS ago but in a good way. I remember loving that show as a kid and even had some swamp thing figures from it. Doom Patrol is a surprising hit for me. I originally looked at it as DCs trying to do their own guardians of the galaxy but its way more than that and it feels very fresh and original. They are definitely going in the right direction. I also originally didnt care for Titans as a thought but after watching the show, I actually really dig it. Theres even an episode where they meet up with the doom patrol before the show even started.. so there is one character(actor)that didnt make it over to the show itself. Was a really neat episode. If DC could do this kind of stuff and incorporate it into movies, I think theyd be just fine. Altho they should have some tones that arent just depressing and dark like EVERY other thing they do just to kill off any monotony.

Agreed. Doom patrol was lit. The penultimate episode was far more entertaining than the finale.
I like Swamp thing but I do hope they explore the parliament of trees and all as well.
