Netflix has announced via Twitter with the tagline below that the 5th Season of Lucifer has been expanded to 16 episodes.

#Lucifer Season 5 just got a HELL of a lot better — and bigger! We've added six more hours, for a grand total of 16 episodes!

While I'm mostly pleased about this, I do kind a feel like 16 episodes might actually be a bit more than needed to wrap things up after the season 4 finale (won't spoil it).
