Welling would be my first pick for Kingdom Come as far as the older look and shorter hair. He could buff up like Afleck did for Batman. If DC is serious about making a big screen comeback they better cut the jokes crap and get to work on what they have.

Otherwise Marvel will continue to rule until, well... Kingdom Come.

I've said that all along, The thing is, knowing what I know about "Legends of Tomorrow," I worryhis turn as Old Superman may be nothing more than a brief injoke, a sight gag for the Legends segment of the crossover. Let's face it, he doesn't exactly look the part of an older, grizzled Superman, even with the dyed temples.

If I had been in charge of casting Kingdom Come Superman, I would've gone with John Haynes Newton, Tom Welling, or Dean Cain. Newton is still in great shape and wears his age well, Welling is also in great shape, but also has that "soft around the edges" quality most guys get in middle age (I'm 47, trust me it happens to all of us). Cain has that, plus he can really work the "I'm old, I'm tired, and I've seen some $#!+," aspect you'd need for this particular version of Superman.

Regardless of the lackluster script for Superman Returns, I thought he did a great job as Superman in that movie.

Whoah! You're putting a lot on what amounts to a couple of publicity shots and some blink and you miss it video footage.

Lets see how this plays out before we start building a new DCEU on it.

I would like to see Routh in a Kingdom Come movie regardless of how this crossover thing pans out. Regardless of the lackluster script for Superman Returns, I thought he did a great job as Superman in that movie.

I've been enjoying the Arrow episodes leading up to this and the Flash ones though right now I am two episodes behind on Flash. My biggest fear for this thing though is its just gonna become a big hub-bub of character appearances and the story is gonna play second fiddle to seeing how many characters they can cram in one episode.

As I understand it this is essentially the Christopher Reeve Superman which Routh picked up the reigns for in the horrible Superman Returns. I know he's older looking now and they have him in a Kingdom Kome type outfit but its not like its a whole new Superman.

Glad to see Black Lightning getting in on this. I thought they were gonna leave him out of it again. They should have included his show in the Crossover.

Okay DC, I'm going to say this once so use your good ear. Let Brandon Routh bring Superman Kingdom Come to the big screen. it could be an epic 3 movie deal that could put DC back on top of the game. Kingdom Come still remains as my all time greatest comic stories. And thanks for the schedule Outsiders now I know exactly what shows and times to record.
