Looked cool enough to me, will watch, will hold judgement until further notice
Batman poster from DC Fandome...
So Bruce Wayne is going to look, act, and dress like emo Peter Parker in Spider-Man 3? That's an . . . interesting choice. Then again, pointless ethnicity changes, a black rubber bat-suit, a souped up car with absolutely NOTHING to identify it as a Bat-Vehicle? Goth-Bruce is about the only thing in this movie I haven't seen in a hundred other comic book films.
I still don't agree with most of the casting, not that they are bad actors but I just don't see them in the roles. The serial killer mystery aspect is interesting hopefully they can showcase Batman's detective skills and knowledge. It would have been better if Batman showed up at the crime scene alone or with just Gordon and started analyzing everything and picking up things that Law Enforcement missed. If they can do a cerebral, battle of the wits cat and mouse game between Batman and Riddler it would make for a very entertaining movie.
7 hours ago, Outsiders said:I liked from what I saw... They are taking Batman back to his ways where he would totally beat the hell out of someone instead of just slapping them around and waiting for the cops to show up. This Batman is more bent on revenge and suffering... Sort of like a Punisher type Batman.
What I don't like is they are making Batman more open and social such as in the Adam West Batman series. Showing Batman hanging out with cops and showing up at crime scenes. Stick with him being mysterious and hanging out in the shadows.
Agree, Batman works alone..should not be hanging out with the cops...He is the greatest detective after all.why do he need the cops?
Batman is my all time fave, but I don't think this movie is for me. Still, I'd watch it on video
I don't know if I'll like the movie, but I loved that trailer. Nirvana may have done some heavy lifting. I do like the idea of treating Riddler like a Zodiac-type serial killer.
I agree with Outsiders, Batman should be more mysterious at least year one. His Bruce Wayne looks kind of greasy and unkept. A disturbed look I guess. Not too sold on the look just yet but maybe its for a good reason., The suit and batmobile are certainly not what we're used too. This trailer leaves me with the impression of a low budget Batman, meaning the look of him and all. But I have an open mind and hope for the best. It looks weirdto me but it's still a version of Batman. Who is going to be Alfred? Andy Serkis I went back and read the intro.
