I did not have a lot of faith that the second season would be any better than the first one. After this trailer I might actually have less.

I didn't think it was awful. It was a whole lot better than Discovery though.

I thought the first season was awful, and I don't know whether to be relieved that Michael Chabon is out or concerned that Akiva Goldsman is taking his place this coming season. I don't know what to expect from Terry Matalas. I'm not particularly familiar with his work. It's probably an asset that he worked on several Star Trek series prior to the Kurtzman era, albeit in a limited capacity.

chabon is stilla producer on season 2 and wrote twoof the episodes. goldsman is basically his protege and chabon said he did everything he did behind the scenes with season one, the same for season two. only difference he said was that once production began he just "gave notes".

my guess, if you didnt like season one youre not gonna like season two. me personally, i loved the 1st season so im excited to see where they go with this season.

That looks intriguing. I really hope it's better than the first season.
