I really wish they just connected this movie to Joaquin Phoenix Joker, both movies have corrupt Waynes theme and Thomas runs as Mayor in both movies, this could be an amazing opportunity, even if time wise this doesn't align, but hey we seen worse inconsistencies but it would have been worth it.
This is awful and I see why it did not make it into the movie. Serves no purpose. I will bet test audiences did a WTF reaction to this or else it wouldn't have been left on the cutting room floor. The only rememberable thing about this is how awful the Joker character looks and acts. And the dialog is barely audible - didn't WB figure this out with the Batman Rises Bane prior? Is it a combo of two-face (ala apparent acid burns) or what. Let's see them make a kid-friendly action figure of this one. Ask why SpinMaster has no Riddler figure on the market??? They made everything including Gordon and police car yet they can't seem to figure out how to produce a "Gimp" dressed figure intended for kids. Batman Movie overall was well written, well acted... But this scene does not match what I saw in the theaters. Get another actor, this guy doesn't cut it.
Great scene, good world building here actually
Stunning scene between Pattinson and Koeghan. Reeves' version of the Joker might be the most horrific version I've every scene. It will be interesting to see if the character makes it into future movies. He looks like he has been through the meat grinder.
It's good but this is way too much Joker exposure in recent years, Batman has other villains, hopefully this Joker will be just supporting character for at least next two movies.
Wish this was left in. Lot of good scenes but Barry keoghan is my favorite actor right now...and this wouldve been the best scene of the entire film in my opinion.
Very good scene, interesting look on Joker (clearly it's after their encounter at Ace chemicals) but I'm glad they left it out. It would have gotten too bloated otherwise
