Nah, that's not possible! The big H needs cash and the rights to make merchs which already proves to be more profitable than the movies itself.

Or even match Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken. But who's to say this will be a remake, though? That had been the buzz around this thing as it was talked about for the last fifteen years or so and went nowhere, but I'm not reading anything about that now, and a reboot could also be 25+ years later sequel, too, similar to Halloween. The Scream movie these guys made was a sequel in a similar vain.
Impossible to top Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken. They should do what Miller did with Mad Max and simply tell a new story about Snake Plissken with a new setting.
