Just when we thought we'd seen it all... Last week, an
ebay listing was brought to our attention: The seller offered a
completely empty box from the
G.I.Joe Classified Series Spirit figure, for about the same price as if the figure was in it.

ToyFarce decided to investigate and found out about a collectible store in Florida (Florida man, again?), who sells
only empty boxes, complete with
plastic inserts and
twist ties. The
owner of the store explained us that it can be either for collectors that bought a
loose figure but want to keep it "
MOC", or for
loose action figure collectors who want to convert and become
"mint in box" collectors.
"
Come visit our store, we have it all: Hasbro, Neca, Mezco, McFarlane Toys, Super7, Mythic Legions, SH Figuarts, ... We got all the empty boxes you need. If you got loosies, we got their boxes!" said the owner. "
We even sell a "mint scent spray", that you can spray inside the box to give it that "out of factory" smell we all love!"
