It's the most wonderful time of the year, especially for
toy stores all around!
Christmas is just around the corner, and
ToyFarce has gotten reports from collectible stores all around the country on how they prepare for this year's confused relatives with very limited knowledge about action figures and collectibles, trying to buy a gift for a loved one that is one of us,
a toy collector!
"
It's always easier when they know at least about the theme" said Dave, a comic book and collectible store employee from New Jersey. "
If they come to us saying 'Hello, can I have a Star Wars, please?', we have something to work with, and can point them to one of the most recent wave of figures, or something cool that came out recently. 'I think he likes superheroes', we show them the hottest Marvel or DC items of the moment. However, if they really don't know at all, we tend to fall back on Funko Pops. It's always the easy, simple gift that we know is going to please everyone."
So now might be a good time to remind your close ones what it is that you collect and enjoy...
Don't say we didn't warn you!

But then again I already buy all the figures I'm interested in anyway, so adding to my collection has never been the safest avenue for any gift givers to go down anyway. Regardless, it's the thought that counts so I can't ever complain.
Haha Im in the same boat bro. I have like 30 Funkos Ive been given as gifts ??? Ive honestly grown to like them, but ofc Id rather get actual figures

Yeah, definitely a tough one. Also keep an eye on the BFS sections after the big rush. It's always a pleasure to swap something I'm not interested to something that I'm mildly interested lol.
