"
Utter and total injustice." That is what a
collector felt after discovering that
other collectors were receiving a new coveted action figure before him, even though he had woken up early and was able to place his order within a few seconds after the item went live. A
terrible situation, truly deserving to be told during our
October Horror Stories series. Viewers discretion is advised.
"
The pre-orders opened at 9 A.M., so I woke up early to be sure not to miss it." said the
collector. "
I was logged in, with everything ready for a smooth transaction and I am fairly sure I was one of the first few people to order. A few days later, I saw that other people were starting to get their items, even though I still hadn't gotten my notification of shipment. One person, then 2, then a few more... That's when I started to get nervous. It was like the company was actively ignoring my order, processing every other orders first... even though I was one of the first few!"
"
I feel like companies should process the orders in the exact order that they were placed, and wait that the first orders have received theirs before shipping the rest. It shouldn't matter if you live closer to where the item is shipped from, I don't understand the logistics of shipments anyway. They should first wait that I get my item, and then ship it to others."
"
The only thing I can do now is to comment on every posts from people that have gotten it before me that mine still hasn't shipped yet, hoping that it will make things go faster."
Right before publishing the article, the
collector reached out to tell us that he had
finally gotten his notification and that he should get the item soon, even though he cares
a bit less about it now, since
everybody else had gotten it before him.

Yeah, collectors, like this specimen should move to the Far East, where they can get their stuff much faster. I totally believe this should work..or not really?
I mean, I know these are jokes and all, but I'm still bitter about how Walmart never fulfilled my Classified pre-orders (cardbacks) from one of their Collector Cons, but made it available for purchase on their site when the product came in and was only fulfilled that way. That original Pre-order is still open and is pretty much guaranteed to never be fulfilled, but at least I got my product (by making a separate purchase). The question becomes, what's the point of creating a pre-order system if those orders go to the very back of the line when the actual product comes in?
I know that pain. Especially from hasbro pulse. I mean, how does bbts get stuff before hasbro?
