It's Wednesday and you know what that means: ToyFarce review!

This week, we're having a look at the new Biker Mice from Mars action figures by the Nacelle Company. Oh, the nostalgia! I remember having the old Galoob figures as a kid, along with the bikes and a couple of villains! The Nacelle Company brought the Biker Mice from Mars back, and they're pretty great!

First off, Throttle, the leader, which I remember as being the 'Leonardo' of the gang. The figure comes with 2 extra heads (including one with helmet), 2 extra pairs of hands, a blaster, a hot dog and the same weapon the figure from the 90's came with, a sprocket launcher with 3 sprockets. I love when brands do that, NECA did the same thing with their Gargoyles figures, which included new versions of the accessories the 90s toys had, as a 'nostalgia weapon'. The 3 head sculpts look great, the glasses are removable on both the 'non-helmeted' ones.

Modo, the Cyborg mouse, comes 2 extra heads (one with helmet), 2 extra pairs of hands, a blaster, a hot dog and his 'nostalgia weapon', the rocket gun (minus the 'real firing' action!). Modo is also way taller than the other 2 figures, as he was in the cartoon, which is a nice detail. Mine had a bit of a QC issue and didn't come with all the hands (closed fist ones missing), but it's already being sorted out (Thanks, The Nacelle Company!).

Vinnie, the mouse with a cool attitude, is the smallest of the trio. Vinnie also comes with 2 extra heads (and guess what: One has a helmet!), 2 extra pairs of hands, a blaster, a hot dog, and his 'nostalgia weapons': a crowbar (with a handle in the weirdest place), and a grip claw. I also had a QC problem with Vinnie, which had a paint smear on one of the sculpts, but it's also being taken care of.

Overall, those figures are pretty great. They move nicely, with decent articulations, they really are modern upgrades of the old toys and look exactly as if they came right out of the cartoon. The accessories are fun callbacks from the old ones, and for mice that eat only hot dogs, they are pretty jacked, with chiseled abs! Their bikes are scheduled for later this year, and I can't wait to get them to complete the look. In the meantime, they'll be Biker Mice from Mars... on foot!

The Nacelle Company has an ongoing Kickstarter (a bit less than 48h left at time of writing), to make action figures from the sci-fi series, The Expanse . Let's get that Rocinante chair!

Are there gonna be bikes?

Yes, they're available for pre-order already, should be out in Q3 2024.

This line is really well done when you compare it to other newbie small scale action figure lines, be it sculpt, paint or price wise. Even scale is interesting, because it can fit both 6 and 7 inch scale if you are liberal enough with scale.

Pretty nice review, love the overall joyful designs, and the articulation is solid. While I'm a little less problematic about packaging, I have to say, that despite the efforts, the front is a bit uninspired. This is a small problem however, because the figures looks crisp.
