ToyFarce review!
This week, we're having a look at the
bikes from the
Biker Mice from Mars by the
Nacelle Company! Finally, the
Biker Mice from Mars have bikes again! We were really close to just call them the Mice from Mars, so
crisis averted! But how are their bikes? Can they roll? How fast are they?
Our full review of the first wave of Biker Mice from Mars figures from the Nacelle Company can be found here.
First,
Throttle's Martian Monster Bike (
try saying that out loud 3 times!). This bike is a great updated version of the one of our childhood.
Throttle's Martian Monster Bike comes with a
cannon and
2 missiles to attach to the front of the bike,
2 exhaust flame effects, one big
cloud of dust effect that can also be used as a stand, and a
hot dog. The bikes also has
lights (
headlights and taillights). The figures already came with the correct hands and head sculpts with helmets. I remember the old toys having 'chrome', vac-metal parts, but this matte paint does look a bit better for a cartoony vibe. I do find that the bike is a tiny bit
too low or small (
8.42"). The figures are pretty tall so they really have to squat down to sit on their bikes. Still, it feels great to see
Throttle on his bike!

Modo's Mondo Chopper also comes with a changeable
headlight cover (
with or without guns),
2 exhaust flame effects, one big
cloud of dust effect that can also be used as a stand, and a
hot dog. It has
lights only on the front (
headlights). It looks pretty awesome, but also does look to be slightly smaller than what it should be (
9.70"), especially since the
Modo figure is pretty tall. They still look great on them, but kinda look like they're riding
kid bikes from some angles.

Vinnie's Radical Rocket Sled, on the other hand, is
huge. It comes with a
laser blaster attached to it,
2 exhaust flame effects, one big
cloud of dust effect that can also be used as a stand, and a
hot dog (
Gotta have that hot dog!). There are
lights on the front and dashboard. It looks great, might feel slightly too big (
10") since the Vinnie figure is the smaller of the 3, but still feels right. The bike has a
spring in the back so that it can be pushed more down. There is a
magnet in the back of the bike to put the laser, I didn't know about it and was amazed when I just placed the laser near, and it did that distinguishable '
lock' that magnets do.
It's the little things, sometimes...

Overall, those are great, perfect to display with the
Biker Mice from Mars figures from
Nacelle, but have a bit of a size issue (
2 feel slightly too small, 1 too big). But we're also getting
Biker Mice from Mars toys in 2025, which is pretty awesome. The bikes were about $10 more than the figures.
