This is a nice looking figure, but the side by side comparison with the Mattel DCUC version reminds me of why I have my Mattel figures displayed and my McFarlane figures mostly stored away unopened. They're both great lines but I still prefer the old Mattel stuff for consistency of scale and articulation. McFarlane often has some nicer sculpts and paint but they still just seem to be just more awkward figures with those long legs and diapers. It also still bothers me that they tower over my other lines that I collect which are all 6" figures. As McFarlane continues to expand their character selection (like with this guy!), I might warm up to them more. It took forever for me to come around on Hasbro after those awful early years on Legends after they took over from Toy Biz. I still held that against them long after they had showed drastic improvement - and I missed out on some good stuff as a result.
