Mega city#909 will finally be released in-stores *September 15th*! The buzz about this Udon Entertainment/ Devil’s Due Publishing collaboration has been insane since the San Diego Comicon in July!
Originally a Studio Ice creation, the Korean story is being adapted by Devil’s Due and Udon for the North American market and Hollywood has taken notice! Both Cinescape and the Hollywood Reporter, movie industry trade magazines, have reported that famed movie producer Daniel Alter and writer/producer Ronald Shusett (co-creator of *ALIEN, TOTAL RECALL*) have optioned the film rights to *MEGACITY* and will begin shopping it to studios shortly.
*MEGACITY* is set in a near future where in the effort to avoid another devastating global war, every human has been inserted with a computer chip to induce passivity. Unfortunately, passivity will not help defend the planet from a new species of psychic parasitic creatures called Pulses, which replicate themselves from the helpless humans. An elite commando team called Phobia is created to fight the invaders, and the sci-fi horror adventure begins!
