The spooky is real, I came home today Nov 1st to find that none other then the Scarlet Witch herself had launched herself off the shelf, it's too halloweeny that it happened and it was the witch of all figures.
Thank god for super glue....amen
The picture from the article made me cringe. Coincidentally, my 1/4 scale Leonardo did take a dive, and broke his leg at both joints.
Thank God for Super Glue...
Whats scary is a new kitten in your house full of collectibles
Yeah...
That Fig taking a "Dive".....
Looks to me like he was doing a "get away"....
From all that "Dust" thing ;^)
true, all of these are too true. damage delivery and bad paint apps are prolly my two biggest repeaters, but canceled order scares me the most i think (and target's damn constant need to approve a new delivery date, i wish they would stop that, i'm afraid im gonna forget to approve and then be screwed)
The cancelation of an order as well as a figure coming in damaged are my 2 biggest fears of collecting. I couldn't begin to explain how frustrating it was when Target canceled my Batman Year 2 pre-order. The other fear is when I've been waiting for a figure to come in and then the package comes in damaged beyond recognition!! Yup, frustrating!!
They missed "Ten dollar price hike on a figure with 95% reuse".
The one I still have PTSD from is the cancellation of WFC earthrise ratchet from Amazon.
shitty paint app could be close as paint chipping off, other cases the scarier part is when the part of an arm or leg is same as the other, an example being my Roadblock figure that i just bought and didn't realized he had two left foots on it, sucks right?
