merry christmas and happy holidays. We are now in that period between
Christmas and
New Year's Eve when everything is kind of a blur. What day is it? Did I shower today? Who knows?!
Unfortunately for some collectors, we have received lots of messages about
Christmas disappointments. One of the messages that we felt the most for was from Ryan, a fellow toy collector who wanted a
MAFEX Avengers: Endgame Iron Spider... only to see
Santa bring him a
S.H. Figuarts Avengers: Endgame Iron Spider. His reaction below:
"I wrote it very clearly on my letter to Santa! I wanted the MAFEX one, not the S.H.Figuarts one! This is B.S.! All my other MCU figures are from MAFEX, so I obviously cannot display the S.H. Figuarts with them! And I'm gonna have to buy all the other S.H.Figuarts figures from the MCU since I got this one... There's no other way, now. Not cool, Santa. Not cool!"
Honest mistake?
As long as Santa didn't manage to confuse a
Hot Toys figure with a
Funko Pop one, we should be good.

I had a real mishap like this at Christmas this year.
My gf surprised me with a "Future Me" figure. Alex Pardee. I saw the "Skeletor" version at Power-Con and got really excited but I decided was too expensive. She thought I reallllly wanted it, even though I got excited over everything at Power-Con, so she spend a super long time trying tofind it online afterwards, then she bought it, and surprised me at Christmas. BUT, it was the original version instead. She thought I wouldn't mind because it was "the same" figure. And, was so great because the original version was like $75 cheaper! No. Sorry, honey. It ain't the same thing.
Lot's of love to her for trying. Getting a toy from her was a pretty damn cool thing....so I'm stuck with it. All 1:6 scale of it. LOL!
