It's the
end of the year, and the
Top 10 season is in full bloom! All your favorite reviewers and Youtubers are meticulously preparing their
Top 10 action figures of the year lists. Everyone and their mother will have their own, and it's inevitable. We, at
ToyFarce, only
feel bad for those action figures that came out
late this month, since they will arrive only after the
Top 10 lists have already been made, and won't have a chance to make it in
this year's list, but also
came out this year, so won't be
eligible for
next year's list.
Sorry, MAFEX Brown suit Wolverine, no list for you, bub!
ToyFarce interviewed one of the
most prolific Top 10 list publishers to understand what it's like to
make a top 10 list:
"The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning, is that I have a bowl of one of my Top 10 favorite breakfast cereals. Then, I'll have a shower where I use one of my Top 10 all time favorite shampoo and conditioner combos. Then I'll take some time to ponder about the bottom 5 of my Top 10 list for this week. If I'm lazy, I'll go to one of my Top 10 favorite lunch places in my neighborhood. In the afternoon, I'll continue thinking about my Top 10 list. Maybe i'll do some laundry using one of my Top 10 favorite softeners so that my clothers always smell nice and fresh. In the evening, while filming and publishing my Top 10 list for that week, I'll order in from one of my Top 10 favorite take-out places.
I'll let you in on a secret, though. Next year, I'm planning to switch things up, and do something revolutionary. It's a big risk but I'm confident it will pay off. I'm going to start to post Top 9 lists!"
