ToyFarce News: "Bring Back The DC Icons Line!" Says Collector Who Didn't Buy Any When They Were Out

The DC Icons Line was a great line of figure from DC Collectibles/Direct. Like so many great lines of figures from DC Collectibles/Direct, it ended up being cancelled (RIP DC Films line, DC Lucha Explosiva line,...). Today, tons of fans are calling for the return of that line, that they ignored (or hated on) when it was alive. ToyFarce investigated...

"When DC Collectibles was releasing those figures, I just did like everybody else: I hated it, I commented on every posts that the scale was too small, and I didn't buy them. Once the line was dead and buried, I saw that some of those figures were being sold for a higher price on eBay, so I decided to get into it then. Well, it turns out they were pretty good figures! Now that McFarlane Toys is releasing DC Direct products, I'm really hoping that he resuscitates the DC Icons line! That would be so cool!" said DCDirectSux74, a "long time collector".



McFarlane Toys is also a brand that collectors like to complain about ("ab-crunch this!", "thigh-swivel that!",...). So, would McFarlane Toys, a brand familiar with complaints, resuscitating DC Icons, a line most people didn't care about, be an immediate success? Can two wrongs make a right? We'll see what the future holds!
