ToyFarce News: Murph Scandal?! The Nerf Mascot Disrupted Their Livestream!

"A complete shame!", "a PR nightmare!", "Murph went off-script and nearly ruined the show!"... On friday, Nerf had a livestream on the Hasbro Pulse youtube channel, which had to be cut short due to the behavior of one 'Murph', the Nerf mascot that was introduced in June 2022. This has been the talk of the town on all media outlets in the last few days. Was Murph intoxicated? Did Murph have any heat with someone backstage? ToyFarce investigated...



The show started as all livestream do, with introductions. As Sophie, the CTO of Nerf introduced Murph, Murph immediately handed a paper with a different, more eulogistic, praiseful introduction, which could have already been a warning about the upcoming behavior. Then, only a few minutes in the show, Murph stood up and left... while they were still live!



The camera crew followed Murph backstage, who stopped to chit chat with some colleagues, and basically bullied a colleague into revealing a product, by forcing a microphone into his hands. After some mediation during the video packages, Murph was brought back to the set, only to throw a pie at Sophie's face, furthering the disruption of the show!
