Well, it has certainly been
a month, hasn't it? Between the toys coming out
this month, the delayed toys
from previous months, and the toys
from next year that have decided to come out earlier, our collective savings certainly took a beating this month... And of course, there's the
Black Friday sales! Black Friday is the day where you can see all the items you have bought since the beginning of the year be marked down down to 70% off, and feel sad. A toy collector from Wyoming had to call it quits.
ToyFarce investigated.
"
It's been a rough month!" said James, 36, a Wyoming toy collector. "
I've been hit left and right by pre-orders and delayed figures all coming at once. When it's not BigBadToyStore, it's Hobby Link Japan. When it's not Hobby Link Japan, I get an email from Mezco saying a payment will be processed soon. Then, Hasbro just sent out Serpentor nearly 6 months early! I thought I had time... And just when I thought it was over, Black Friday sales start to pop up... I could not handle it anymore, so I filed for bankruptcy."
This is pretty accurate about how it felt being a toy collector in November, with the addition of the Black Friday sales.
What are you going to pick on
Black Friday?
