Now that a large portion of the
Mezco One:12 Collective Batman 1989 Edition have been delivered, and the reviews and pictures have been flooding our feeds, it is nice to know that the toy community can (
one:12) collectively move on, and focus on the next big thing (
like 'Where is my Mezco Mr Freeze'). There were multiple reports about one collector that
ToyFarce went out of their way to meet: a
satisfied collector!
ToyFarce met with Justin, a collector from Colorado, that has
zero complaints about the
Mezco One:12 Collective Batman 1989 edition that he just acquired: "
I'm really glad with how it turned out! Have you seen this thing? It's awesome!"
About the 3 year wait: "
I didn't mind waiting. I am sure Mezco wanted the figure to be perfect, which caused the wait to be longer, so I understand. The final result definitely speaks for itself! I'm glad they took their time. You can't rush perfection."
About no information about the delays for 3 years: "
I don't spend a lot of time online, so I would have missed it anyway... Was it really 3 years? Wow. With the whole pandemic thing, I've been working from home, so most days looked like each other, I didn't see time fly. It could have been 3 years and I didn't know."
About the figure finally arriving: "
It was like Christmas in late March/early April. When I received the email saying it would process soon, I was so excited! I'm sure everybody was!"
About the figure having a powder residue on it: "
Since it's a seamless body in rubber, Mezco had to put a powder on it so that it doesn't dry or get damaged. Can you imagine? Mezco cares so much about their figures and their customer satisfaction, they put a powder on our toys to protect them. Best company ever! Also, after quickly and calmly researching on the internet, I saw that we can use a product on it to protect it as well (303 Protectant spray). Isn't it great?"
About the figure itself: "
I love it. The new body looks really good, it articulates well. I don't really check social media or youtube reviews, so I don't know what other collectors have been saying this whole time, but I can't imagine anybody being mad or sour about this figure, or anything about it. It's awesome!"
There has to be some sort of
morale in there...
