The following article is an announcement paid for by the MIB/MOC Collectors Assembly: Have you ever been to a comic book store in which they displayed brand new action figures or statues *
OUTSIDE OF THE BOX*? You walk into the store to spend your hard earned money to buy a brand new collectible, and it is displayed in a glass cabinet *
OPENED*?
WHY?
ToyFarce sat down with a representative of the
MIB/ MOC Collectors Assembly to understand exactly what the issue is: "
Well, someone opened the toy! It's not mint anymore! Why should we buy a toy that is not mint?" he replied. "
Sure, they can always rebox them, but there's no way to know if they were wearing gloves, or if their hands were clean when they opened it! Plus, the original seal has been broken. It has lost at least 14% of its value!"

"
It's mostly a problem with 1/6 figures and statues. Why would I want to see what the statue looks like? There is a picture of it on the box! It's usually a picture of the prototype, that looks even better than the final product even! There is never any need to open a toy!"

Who would do such a thing?!
