It's Wednesday, and you know what that means: ToyFarce review!

This week, we're having a look at the Samurai Taisho Darth Vader (Vengeful Spirit) figure from the Meisho Movie Realization Star Wars line from Bandai. This is the third Darth Vader figure in that line, and this one is the version from the Obi-Wan Kenobi series from Disney+, which will go with the upcoming Obi-Wan figure. This is also the first figure to come with a diorama display base!

The Samurai Taisho Darth Vader (Vengeful Spirit) figure comes with a gorgeous alternative head (battle damaged!), 3 extra pairs of hands, an alternative chest piece (battle damaged!), his lightsaber with 2 different blades (normal and moving), and a diorama display base with rocks floating in the air, just like in the fight in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

As is tradition with that line, the figure looks amazing. The details on the armor are beautiful, and the display base adds up to its presence. The alternative battle damaged head gives us a peek at Anakin Skywalker's head, and I feel that it's the head that people will display the figure with. Sadly, the prices seem to have creeped up a lot with that line, as the figures used to be around $70-80, and are now way over $100.

Bandai just released pictures of the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi figure which looks... okay? Not a big fan of the unmasked head, but I do like the big hat/mask thing! This will be the first figure with an unmasked head, too!

Freakin' cool! I always loved the Samurai theme in SW, and this figure is a nice example of how to treat the idea well. And of course, a nice, fresh, honest review. Thank you.
