Last year,
McFarlane Toys announced that the
Movie Maniacs line was coming back. Well,
sort of. The beloved line that gave us so many
horror icons action figures with great sculpts and gnarly details was now going to give us
Bugs Bunny,
Harry Potter,
Ted Lasso and the
Wicked Witch of the West (
...and that was just wave 1!). Since then, there has been a few more noteworthy releases, but get ready for some of the most
iconic moments in
Warner Bros history!
The latest wave in the
Movie Maniacs line includes a shirtless
Steve Carell from the
40-year-old Virgin,
Matthew McConaughey from
Dazed and Confused and
the Dude himself,
Jeff Bridges from
the Big Lebowski (that one is already sold out most places).
Those are actual products, ToyFarce does not have anything to do with those.
ToyFarce contacted the person that seems to randomly pick movie scenes for the line, and got the scoop about what could be next in the line: "
I recently watched 'We're the Millers' which was pretty funny. I hesitated between doing a figure of the guy that shows his tattoo that says 'no ragrets', but decided to go with the more classic moment, when Mike Poulter asks 'Wait, you guys are getting paid?'... It became a meme, which nowadays makes it an iconic moment."

Then, we are going to do a deluxe set, technically a two pack, from the rhino birth scene in the classic movie 'Ace Ventura - When Nature Calls'. This is a scene that changed cinema. I cannot wait to have this predominantly displayed on my shelf!"

As dumb as the new Movie Maniacs line is, I might actually have considered the Ace Rhino if it were an actual product. To this day I remember being one of the few people laughing in the theater at that moment, but I was dying laughing.
