New York Post published an article saying that
adults are now the
biggest consumers of toys, surpassing
preschoolers who had held that top spot for a long time. We all celebrated and pat ourselves on the back, but it turns out
preschoolers did not take this lightly. In an unprecedented turn of events, preschoolers across the nation have united in
protest, demanding to reclaim their rightful place as the primary consumers of toys.

But now, everytime mummy takes me to the store, there is a grown-up buying all the toys! It's not fair!". The preschoolers claim that there has been a surge in prices for popular toys, driven by adult demand, and since they cannot work and earn a paycheck, they cannot afford those toys anymore. "
Grown-ups are stealing our toys!" said Lily, 3.5 years old. "
What's next? Are they going to steal our nap time too?"
One of the chants at the protest said "
LEAVE THE TOYS TO US! Adults can play with taxes and spreadsheets and adult things!".
Tommy, 5 years old, also claimed that the numbers might be rigged, since the preschoolers toys are also bought by adults: their parents. "
Technically, all toys are bought by adults! But they are for the kids, not them! They don't even play with them!"

You know, stealing their Nap time wouldn't be a bad idea either. I sort of feel like having 1 soon. And with all the energy those kiddies have, they don't need it.
