ToyFarce News: Collectors Pretty Sure The Kickstarter Medieval Spawn Would Have Come With The 17 'Free Bonus' Accessories Either Way...

The Original Medieval Spawn Action Figure & Comic Remastered '24 Kickstarter campaign has now ended, and was wildly successful after unlocking all 17 accessories as bonuses: swords, shields, helmets, and random cool-looking weapons! However, as the accessories were revealed one by one, a nagging suspicion began to creep into the minds of seasoned collectors: Were these accessories planned to be included all along? ToyFarce investigated...

Bonus2

"I mean, come on, they knew they were going to give us that shield and sword from day one!" said Craig McFarlane (no relation), a long time Spawn collector. "Like, they had 17 'stretch goals that were not stretch goals' that all perfectly lined up, arbitrarily added throughout the campaign? We’re not that dense… but then again, I did back it. It’s Medieval Spawn, man. I couldn’t resist!"

It wasn’t just Craig. The entire toy community agreed early on to just humor Todd McFarlane. "We decided to just let the Toddfather do his thing. We got a new mini infomercial video every few days, showing Todd being excited about a new FREE bonus item. In a certain way, it was very wholesome. He even showed a factory sample of the box with all the accessories *already in it* during the early days of the campaign in an interview, so it was kinda obvious...", he added.

The Kickstarter campaign, which started with a base trio of figures of Medieval Spawn and a modest promise of "just a couple of accessories," suddenly ballooned into a treasure trove of bonus items as Todd revealed them one by one. "To be fair, I don't think anybody thought 'I will only back it if accessory number 14 is unlocked'. People just wanted a cool-looking Medieval Spawn figure."

Bonus3

"Look, we’re not saying we got played," added Craig with a smirk. "But we totally got played. And I’m fine with it. I mean, look at that morning star, and the skull chest plate!"

More news at 11:00... We know what you’re thinking... and yes, we backed it too.

As much as I liked the fig, I don't really need it for my collection as I was a huge medieval spawn fan as a kiddo , but I will say unlocking a accessory as milestone was corny and helped turn me off it. How do you say hey this is the full fig back it and it comes with all this ..but u can't have it unless you unlock goals idk...so basically the kickstarter is just the figure, if they hit no goals would u just get a spawn ? Of course not he just played people like everyone was unlocking stuff that was already included in the figure
