Today, the toy community was flooded with
YouTube reviews of the highly anticipated
InArt 1/12 Batman (The Dark Knight Rises) figure. Several reviewers had received early samples but were sworn to secrecy until
March 24th (
and of course, a few missed that part and prematurely posted their videos... gotta be first, right?). Now, the videos are out, showcasing the incredible detailing, articulations, soft goods cape, and all the premium features that make collectors salivate.
Unfortunately, not everyone got an early review sample, and one collector was
not happy about it...
ToyFarce investigated...

Meet Jeff, a self-proclaimed "
top-tier toy reviewer" who was *devastated* when his inbox remained empty. "
I review everything. EVERYTHING" he ranted in a now-deleted tweet. "
How could they send it to those guys and not me? Huge mistake. I've told my followers to boycott that company!"
Determined not to be left out of the hype, Jeff took
drastic measures: he filmed a review anyway... of a different
Batman figure from the
Dark Knight Rises, namely an old
MAFEX one.
Early in the morning, Jeff uploaded a video titled "
InArt 1/12 Batman – Is this the BEST Figure Ever?". However, eagle-eyed viewers quickly noticed something was off. The figure in the video was not the highly detailed
InArt masterpiece but a 10 year old, definitely
battle-damaged MAFEX Dark Knight Batman that Jeff had hastily thrown into a fake box. "
The things we do for clout..." he commented.

"
I mean, it's a 1/12 Batman, right?" he defended himself in the comments before turning them off entirely. Despite his efforts, the deception did not last long. When confronted on a livestream, he doubled down: "
Look, I technically reviewed a 1/12 Batman when everyone were posting reviews of 1/12 Batman! I'm still part of the hype! The details are just different. It’s all subjective!".
Meanwhile,
InArt has yet to comment, likely because they are too busy watching the
correct reviews.
As for
Jeff, sources say he is now preparing a reaction video blaming "
other reviewers", "
haters" and "
cancel culture" as the reason why he didn't get his
InArt 1/12 Batman figure.
More news at 11:00... "
I totally got one, it's just still in the mail. I'm sure it will be here tomorrow!"
